About 45th Parallel Home Inspection

After a few years of traveling the country working on big wind turbines and cell towers in their construction phases, 45th Parallel Home Inspection founder Russell Tolle decided it was much more important to spend more time with his young family in Vancouver, WA. In 2014, he made the leap to home inspections and hasn't looked back.

Already armed with degrees in Business Administration and Professional Aeronautics, Russell reinvented himself — becoming an AHIT (American Home Inspector Training Institute) graduate, then an ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) certified inspector and an InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) member. In later years, more expertise and certification were added in the fields of moisture testing and inspection of Adhered Stone Veneer (ASV), Stucco, and EIFS (synthetic stucco).

The accolades continue past the founder: 45th Parallel inspectors have years of experience as well as certifications and memberships in the same associations. Some carry additional credentials, such as licensed FAA drone pilot designations. Most come from a construction background — electrical, HVAC, management, and maintenance. We have a former Merchant Marine, and we even have a full-time civil engineer on the team (he does not perform engineering for home inspections, but he's one smart fella). Our inspectors know homes — inside and out — to give you the very best information, helping you make informed decisions.
